I belong to Intervale Int'l and own two weeks at a resort in Kissimmee, FL.
I recently wanted to exchange a week for a Disney resort and was told that I cannot exchange within a certain mile radius of my home resort.
Does RCI have this rule?
If so, why?

It is the individual resorts that impose area restrictions. This is common in areas where there are many resorts active in timeshare sales.
