I went to deposit my unused Wyndham points to RCI yesterday. I have done this in the past. However it asked for a Reservation Transaction fee of $30.00. Is this a new RCI charge? SK

No, it's not a new charge from RCI. Any time you deposit to RCI it requires a Wyndham reservation transaction. Anything you do for that entire day only requires 1 transaction, so you should try to do as many things as possible on the same day.

The charge means you have exceeded your annual RT allotment (you get 1 per 77k points). Figure out how many RTs you have/used for the year and avoid the fee by doing your RCI deposit on the day you last book a resort (if you thought you were done using points within Wyndham for the year AND you are on your last RT).
