I hope this is in the right forum.

My RCI membership is coming up in September and I'm debating whether i should renew or not.

Does anyone have an amazing renewal rate, promotion or offer that they have received / used with RCI?

Discount offers are usually targeted to your resort. I would call RCI and ask for the desk for your resort, and ask if they are offering any specials.

I'm going to piggyback onto this question, since it's similar to my inquiry...

Our RCI account is up for renewal at the end of the month. I logged onto the RCI site yesterday and there was a great renewal offer, $109 for 2 years, and something like $60 or $65 for one year.

At that moment I didn't have my wallet, so I couldn't do the renewal. I log in today, and there is no sign of the special offer. (And I know the offer wasn't there on Tuesday or Wednesday, so this was a 1 or 2 day offer)

I tried using the online chat, but the guy pretty much said "what you can see online is what is available"... Has anyone ever seen such short-duration renewal specials? Should I bother calling?

If it were me, I would probably call and insist on the renewal rate- explain what happened, etc. Be persistent.

As a follow up, I was finally able to call. After explaining what I saw, and without even giving him specifics on what I wanted, he offered me the exact $109 for 2 years offer I'd see online. I was able to renew then and there on the phone.

I think RCI ads rotate and you might have seen the offer if you were constantly online and refreshing your screen.

While he ads rotate, the offer prices were specifically displayed on the membership renewal page. They were there one day with the sale prices, then gone the next and the prices were back to their usual prices.
