Going into my Wyndham provided RCI account, a different listing of entries is now showing. My Sands Ocean Club is still their and available for use. Two other entries listed multiple times show up. Something called Wyndham Club Plus Master weeks and Wyndham Club plus. These do not show as available for use and gives a RCI phone number to call for questions. Called the number and they transferred me over to the Wyndham/RCI folks. They advise the changes I am seeing are not applicable to me and that my Wyndham timeshares are no longer available for my use through the Wyndham/RCI program. Anyone know what is happening?

I do not use RCI very much so this is not a particularly big deal to me. Am going off to sign in through the Wyndham/RCI Portal to see if using the points is still possable through the computer.

Just checked the Wyndham/RCI Portal. Even though the RCI phone in system is no longer reconizing Wyndham Vacation Resorts timeshares (at least in my case) for use through the RCI/Wyndham system, the Wyndham Portal is showing a little less that 700,000 points available for use through the Portal. I do not need anything from RCI at this point. I am assuming Wyndham Vacation Resorts timeshare points can still be converted to RCI weeks through the computer.

Wyndham and RCI Staff keep getting more and more arrogant and rude. This is not a good sign for the overall health of the programs.

Anyone receiving the E-Mail Msg from RCI pertaining to Account Information, I would strongly suggest they follow the link to check on their status.

You do have 2 RCI accounts now. The one through the Wyndham website/portal which is where you can use your points. The other is through the RCI website itself which you can see any old 28k, non Wyndham weeks, and extra vacations. Wyndham points don't go into that one anymore.

Just be thankful that YOU don't have tradiational Wyndham Fixed Weeks. Seems you now have to call RCI Wyndham desk to deposit them. Don't know if you have to call them to do searches; but DID NOT have to do that before the improved Wyndham portal happened.

These tradiation fixed weeks are NOT converted to Wyndham points; just at Wyndham managed resorts. RCI verified them years ago that I owned them. Why do I have to talk to the RCI/Wyndham desk?

My suspicion is that you reached someone who either didn't understand your question or doesn't understand the Wyndham/RCI portal relationship. As far as I know there haven't been any significant changes since the portal went into place.

Have done additional research. The 2nd attempt on the question, I reached a better informed person. Apparently, the Wyndham/RCI people cannot see Wyndham eligable points in what they see on the computer, that is why the 2nd person explained that is why I am being told that they are not available. Moral of that, I guess, is that you need to move the points over to Wyndham/RCI through the computer, then they can see them.
