RCI Portal issues (still)

For some reason, I am unable to search for RCI resorts. I am using Firefox 8.0, and use the User Agent to make it work like Internet Explorer 8.0. If I search, I put in whatever I need to search for (like Resort ID), dates, and click "Search"... nothing. No "working" icons, just sits there :crash:

Also, is there a way to find out if a resort is RED (or lower color) without logging on to the RCI website (aka guest)?

I had the same issue on the Wyndham Portal. Go to the resort directory and narrow it down to the area you want to go to and do a search on what is available.

I was having the same problem until I clicked on the compatibiliy view button up by the address line (looks like a piece of torn white paper).

How can you search on RCI Points via the portal. It only looks like it is searching the weeks side.

I was having the same probably and called customer service and was told to do the above. It worked!

Even with compatibility view on (that is what that torn paper is called) it still doesn't work for me. I can search, get a display of tesorts available, but if I click on the units available button, I can't actually see the units. The search page actually comes back up.

I had the same problem, when I do anything other than search by keyword with no dates or other criteria I get errors or it flips me back to another screen.
So the fix for me was to select search by key word then enter a city, state or resort name with no dates etc. Then I can search availability or filter down using other criteria that shows up on the left hand side of the screen.

I did search by keyword and no dates. I get 8 resorts, but still can't see what units are available. That screen never pops up.

Well strangely it would not pop up yesterday, but it is this morning. Maybe it had to do with the fact that I was in RCI regular first, then I moved over the RCI Wyndham portal.

I don't use the portal but had problems with RCI and for me Chrome works better than IE.

I got my fix by calling RCI for Wyndham at 800-572-0931 and asked the rep for Web support, I had to hold a long time but the WEB support rep walked me through to a viable resolution for my search errors, I think your next best step is to get RCI WEB support on the phone. You answer may help a lot of people.

Hiya, I had issues booking online using Firefox, I spoke with the tech rep and he said it doesn't work with Firefox, the booking part.. He said IE. or Chrome, Chrome is best for me and my older PC. I ended up booking over the phone...
