We are investigating acquiring a TS simply to be able to trade through RCI to Anaheim and Orlando (Disney is even better). We like Peacock in Anaheim(I know there are better resorts, but we really like it). Now to my question what would be a good number of points to look for if we want to travel to one of these places yearly?

Thanks in advance.

Depends on the time of year, the property you want to trade into, and the size you need. I’d suggest 60k points minimum. Alternatively, you could just get the cheapest biennial or triennial timeshare you can find and book extra vacations through RCI using cash. You won’t get Disney properties but Orlando always has availability.
