RCI Points Membership Transfer

I am buying a resale at an RCI Points resort. I have an existing RCI Points membership. The seller also has an existing RCI Points account but there are no points available this year (2008). The first year of usage is 2009 by which time I should have ownership. Do we have to fill out an RCI Points Ownership Transfer Application (and pay the $100 transfer fee)? Since the resort will have my ownership information before they deposit the points, is there anything that needs to be done with RCI at all?

Yes - The form and fee are all that is required.

Well, as usual, Dave is right. I had a different answer from one of the VC at RCI. That's why I had to ask a TUGGER, it's pretty sad when you can't trust RCI. Except for ALWAYS collecting a FEE, if possible. Thanks JD.
