Major Newbie here- If I own RCI points what is the booking window at my home resort. And what is my booking timeframe for non-home resort properties.

(Sorry as I am sure this is asked again and again- I browsed the stickies and tried to search but couldn't find my answer)

12-13 months if you have a home week (as opposed to a floating week)
11-12 for home resort (floating week or week different from the one that you yourself own)
10-11 for other resorts if your home resort belongs to a group of resorts
10 months for resorts not at all associated with your home resort.

PERFECT! Thanks for the quick reply- one more quickie- if I reserve my home week at my home resort (or one of my floating weeks if I get that type of contract) I don't have to pay a booking fee- right? But I think I read there is a small fee ($40 maybe?) to book your homeresort outside of your assigned week (or weeks). Does that sound right?

When booking to your home resort is there still a booking fee (164.00 or whatever it is?)
Doesn't seem right to pay that for your home resort does it?
thanks

Home week - free
Home resort - $40
Home Group - $129 or whatever the full exchange rate.

The first 2 fees are ONLY valid during their respective booking dates. More use for the post-its on your calendar. ;)

In points, I had to pay the regular $129 exchange to RCI when I booked a different week into my resort.

Corrected exchange fee - been doing too many weeks exchanges recently. Thanks - made the update to original post.
