I know Canx Rci weeks are getting an exchange voucher good thru 12/30/20 for C19 Resorts closed instead of tpu back.
what about Rci points? I don’t want a travel voucher (1st world problem).

I paid to get my full TPU's back, could have got 60% or something based on when I cancelled, cost me $10 per TPU, so no big deal.

This is what i was told today via chat.

We are offering a deal on deposit extensions for members who have had reservations be affected by what is going on. RCI understands that in times of uncertainty, it can be difficult to formulate plans. Therefore, we are pleased to be able to offer the following BOGO discounts for each expiring deposit, Deposit Credit and/or Combined Deposit you choose to extend at this time:

• Purchase a 1-month extension for the standard $49 USD/$69 CAD fee and receive an additional 1 month free.
• Purchase a 3-month extension for the standard $89 USD/ $125 CAD fee and receive an additional 3 months free.

No deal on any combinations though. That would have made me happy as I have a bunch of small ones to combine/use anyways.

on the TPUs side (different trade), I extended a combined deposit a month or so after making a reservation that was just canx by resort. I got 37 TPUs expiring in Aug. 2020 which had been part of that larger combined deposit. I think that RCI should put 37 TPUs back into combined deposit (which has been extended) without extra fee. Certainly a 1st world issue and don't plan to call/chat right now.

Thank you! This is good to know. I just posted that a friend of mine got a "too bad" response from RCI a couple of weeks ago about her expiring deposit this summer. I will let her know about the new deal.
