I am a weeks owner through Silverleaf Resorts. However, when I bank it in RCI that also give points. I only have one week banked, but have enough points in the system for two weeks of vacation. Will I be able to book two weeks?

If you have enough RCI Points to 'spend' for an exchange, of course you can get a second week- based on availability. There will be an exchange fee to RCI of $209 or $219 each.

Are you sure you get RCI points when depositing? I used to be a Silverleaf owner and my deposits would get TPUs (trading power units), not RCI points. RCI is confusing that way. Weeks deposit as TPUs (something like 5-60) and RCI points resorts get RCI points (something like 20,000-90,000). This is just an example. You can tell whether you have weeks or points by the magnitude of the "points" you get.

If you are in weeks, and you have enough TPUs to get 2 (or more) vacations yes, you can get them. You just have to pay an exchange fee for each one. Some exchanges cost as little as 5 TPU, others may cost over 50.

Hope this helps, RCI can be kind of confusing with 2 systems.

My account tells me that I have 48 Points to use. That is this years week and some point left from last year. It is not in the thousands, so I guess it is points.

NOT points ... you have TPUs (Trading Point Units).

Not pesos, not dollars, not francs, not marks .... TPUs.

But i am able to use them for two trips? I have found two resorts in Orlando I am interested in with values of 22-24. So as long as I have the TPU's and am willing to pay two fees, I can reserve two weeks.

These may seem silly questions to some, but I am new to this.

Yes. You can book as many weeks that add up to your total points as you want.
