RCI Point Account Question.

I went into my RCI point account and search for resort 4200 , Carriage Hills , RCI Point resort for June 30, 2006, standard reservation. It didn't show any availablity. I went into my week account and be able to find availablity (studio) for June 30, 2006. Since the seach is under 10 months, why I can't book Carriage Hills studio in June 30 using the point account through RCI website. I can't search the week in RCI point account since Carriage Hills is a point resort. When I called RCI represenative, they can book me the studio unit for 4 nights.
I am wondering if this is a problem with the RCI point website.

Because Carriage Hills (4200) is an RCI Points-affiliated resort, it must be reserved within the Points system unless you have a completely separate Weeks account. In your case, you do have the option to confirm an exchange using your Weeks account. However, if you're using your Points account, you'll need to make a Points Standard Reservation.

I did go into my Points account and search for the weeks using the Points Standard Reservation. It doesn't show any availability within the 10 months window. When I go into separate week account , I can see it. I didn't want to use the separate week account to reserve the week my week is a 2 bedroom and the unit that I want is a studio. I called RCI, they said they can't reserve the week using a point account.

Cannot booked unconverted weeks of RCI point resorts

It looks like RCI points account have problem of accessing unconverted week deposit of RCI Points resorts.

These weeks should be available to you in Points. I just tested this online myself and was able to see the inventory. Please try again and let me know if you continue to have trouble. An RCI Points Guide should be able to help you if you call 877/968-7476.
