I figured I could go crazy looking for this info or post this for the experts. My son will be attending a friend's wedding in Huntington Beach, CA next year and is looking for a place to stay from May 23 to May 30. Are there any nice timeshares nearby? If not, do you have any recommendations for accommodations? Thanks. Gary

Worldmark has either Dolphins Cove or the Worldmark Anaheim in Anaheim - there aren't a lot of timeshare near Huntington Beach that I'm aware of. Maybe someone else will know of more.

There are a bunch of timeshare between Laguna Beach down to San Clemente, placing you 20 - 35 miles from Huntington Beach, but the closest would be the Marriott's Newport Coast® Villas just 5 miles or so down the road.

Unfortunately Marriott's are in II, not in RCI. You'd need to do an third party rental or swap to make that work.

If you own WorldMark you can join II and try to trade into the Marriott. I don't know how much trading power WM has anymore with II though.
