Question for the RCI experts:
If I modify an ongoing search by adding additional resorts or dates, do I move to the end of the line, or do I keep my priority position?
Thanks,
Dave

My experience has been that modifying a search does not change the start date of the search. So you should maintain your place in line.

That's my experience, too. Changes, no matter how small or large, don't affect your original start date. If you CANCEL and start a new one, it does, but if you're just changing you keep your priority.

Is there anything to keep you from perpetually running an ongoing search? You could confirm every match you get (and want) with another deposit and keep your ongoing search cranking along with a new desired time/location until.

Would that work? If so, it might be worthwhile to commit an exchange fee into perpetuity.

Thinking out loud, the depoist used for the ongoing searchs would eventually expire. So the next question is, can you swap out the deposit with a new one without starting a new ongoing search?

BTW, Merry Christmas all. I'm just sitting here waiting for the household to get up and going.
