RCI "on hold" question

I have a week on hold which I would like to extend for one more day. If I release it, how long does it take to show back up so I can grab it again? Would doing it on Sat night when RCI is down help or hurt? Never done this before, but I am sure someone here has timed it.

If you confirm it, you can still cancel it within 24 hours. That will give you another day.

I just let it release on it's own at midnight and then grabbed it again early this morning. :)
