The other one was the site configured for your phone. I think now they want you to download the app.
Thanks that was the site it was accessed through my cell. The reason I asked is because through that other site sometimes you saw inventory not on the regular rci.com website..I own at Now called Holiday Inn at Orange Lake in Kissimmee, Fl. .With all of HI family resorts they have 1 in 3 or 1 in 4 rules which means as an owner the rule does not apply to me, yet RCI blocks you from making a reservation online because of the rule and you have to call RCI to do it. Here was the glitch if I had been to Orange Lake this year and tried to access making a reservation for next year specifically at Orange lake, the rci website would not even show me availability, to get around it, I found just put in search, Kissimmee, Fla with no dates then hit search, I get all available openings at Orange Lake and others..at least I can see availability, then I call RCI to make the reservation, but make sure you get the online price for reservation, it is their glitch..thank you all.I prefer using their website on my phone to the mobile app. My guess is the website @gumbow719 is referring to is what used to be their mobile site. Their regular site now comes across as being optimized to also work on a handheld.
Speaking of which, it has not been working that well on my phone using the chrome browser for the last week or so. It has been working fine using safari, though.
You might ask RCI to add your ownership to your account so you can get around the 1 in x limitations. I did that for a different one I own that has a 1 in 4 and haven’t had a problem, even with booking directly via their site.
Funny thing is there isn't any problem booking Massanutten with Massanutten tpu's on the weeks side. I book regal vistas just about once a year, and rci doesn't even know that I own regal vistas, just using power boast points and old Summit points. On the points side though it won't allow me to book around the 1 in 4 without calling. I always assumed it was because I had some non Massanutten points but it sounds like they just don't have the points accounts programmed correctly. There is a similar glitch at Massanutten with an RCI points account. As a Woodstone owner I am exempt from the 1 in 4 restriction at all Massanutten resorts, yet I can’t book Summit online or see inventory since I have stayed there in the past four years. They told me they could not fix the bug, but just to call to book. I have a workaround to check inventory through my HGVC portal account.
Eric, just do a standard search on RCI for Virginia with no dates, just Virginia and search..scroll until you see the Massanutten you want, hit available units to see inventory, then just call RCI remake Reservation but make sure you get online fee..There is a similar glitch at Massanutten with an RCI points account. Wow works for me to view total inventory in an area.where I would be locked off with 1 in 4 rule if I requested a specific resort that I owned at and a specific time if less than the 4 years..sorry it did not work for you mu Holiday Inn works that way..have a good day..BillWhen I click to see inventory, below is what I see. I have a workaround (another account) that works, but this approach doesn’t work for me.
