I just got a call from someone asking if I wanted to attend an update (informational) meeting discussing and explaining the new policies for RCI and II next year. Has anyone ever heard of this or is it really a post card company with a new approach to get people in? I told them I wasn't interested but now it has me curious. If I had more time I would have went to check it out.

Would this company pay my business class airfare all the way to Texas to attend their meeting ? Sounds like another marketing ploy .

Did you get the name, address, and phone number of the company?

They caught me a little off guard. Caller ID had the name as "A Points Partner" Phone #832-585-0762
When I did a reverse number look up it gave me as located in Spring, TX but the name and address unavailable.

I knew I didn't want to get involved but I started wondering what they were really after. I don't know of any company going around updating info on RCI & II just for the heck of it.

It could be connected with RCI points. We went to one some time ago and they claimed they were from RCI but they were really selling Inverness TS and I think it was on Points. What they wanted to do was upgrade our points but we don't own any points. They said they should have never called us. We got a free meal.

Sounds to me like they're selling something. If it were me, I think I'd pass.
