We have owned Wyndham for a couple of years but have not used RCI. We just purchased more points resale and have 74K(canceled points) that expire at the end of the year. We can't use them by the end of this year. So it looks like our only option is deposit them in RCI. We don't know a lot about RCI and the Wyndham book does not help. I know it will cost $164/199 and there has been some negative changes in RCI recently. So can you help in letting us know what 74K points deposited in RCI will really get us.

You don't have to pay for your RCI membership with Wyndham points, they automatically give you a weeks account.

74K can get you a quiet studio or 1 bedroom at Disney resorts in off season so if Disney is of any interest to you that's a good value use of Wyndham points in RCI. I'm sure there are others. :)
