We bought our first timeshare at Vacation Village in the Berkshires a couple of years ago. Presently, we have 3 ongoing searches for 2006 and 2007. This past Nov. we bought a second timeshare at Sheraton Vistana Village in Orlando. This timeshare in Orlando, we do not plan to trade and have not deposited our week with RCI. Last night, I called an RCI guide to inquire about my ongoing search for Aug. 2006, and she said she could not help me at all, and I needed to call another number (which she gave me) that dealt with Starwood properties within RCI. I told her the search was not for the Starwwood unit and was from my deposit against Vacation Village. She was unwilling to talk to me at all, and said she simply could not help me. After hanging up, I was quite disturbed that there is some kind of problem with my account, which by the way is paid up til 2015. I called another guide and they were able to look at my search and of course nothing is turning up. Now I am wondering if indeed I will ever get a match if there are RCI workers who think I should be contacting other departments, and if there is confusion over what propery I have deposited. Sorry this is lengthy, and I hope you understand what I am saying, and I really need some assurance that my account is in order and I may receive a fair trade. Thank you, Sue
