RCI Gasoline Promotion

In early December of last year we purchased a last call vacation. At that time RCI was running Gasoline promotion. When we confirmed the trip we were promised this transaction qualified for your promotion. It has now been eight weeks since we completed the trip, yet we still haven't received the gas card. When I called RCI they had no record of the promotion. I then offered to forward them a copy of this promo and then I was told you ran out of gas cards and they were backlogged. Any help you can give will be appreciated.

Originally, the Gas Card Fulfillment Company advised us that they would mail gas cards to members 4 - 6 weeks after their confirmed check-in dates. However, due to a higher than anticipated level of participation, the company experienced a backlog. They should be caught up by now, so if you still haven't received your card, please send an e-mail to feedback@rci.com with TUG in the subject line. The Communications Team can check on it for you.

Was the gasoline promotion for Last Call ? I thought it was only for Extra Vacations. If it was for Last Calls I guess I have some coming too!

I recall it saying Last Call vacations weren't eligible, just Extra Vacations. I just called RCI yesterday about the promotion since we, too, went on an Extra Vacation in early Dec. and haven't received our gas card yet. They told me they were backlogged and that we would eventually get it. I'm surprised I haven't forgotten about it already!

We went on an Extra Vacation in October. Would that qualify? I had not heard of this promotion.

We went on an Extra Vacation in October (Fairfield Nashville) and while there purchased a Last Call vacation for December (Vacation Village at Parkway). We haven't recieved any gas card either - do Canadians qualify?

I'm not sure when the promotion started, but I don't think it started until sometime in Nov. Have you called RCI and asked? I'm about to give them another call.

That would let me out. We booked several months in advance. It seems we are either too early or too late to take advantage of special offers! Thanks for your input.

I don't think it mattered when you booked the vacation, just had to be taken during a specific time. I did call them again yesterday and they said it would be a few more weeks before we would get our card. So if you've gotten it "already", consider yourself lucky.

The offer dates for the Gas Up & Go promotion were October 10, 2005 to December 14, 2005, with check-in dates starting by December 14, 2005.

Last Call vacations were not eligible; only Extra Vacations qualified. The gas cards are mailed 6-8 weeks (or longer due to backlogs) from the check-in date of the confirmed vacation. Hang in there - they should reach you soon.

We're still waiting for our card---going on 5 months now. There must have been a lot of people going on Extra Vacations those 2 months!
