Does anyone know if there are exceptions to the policy RCI has regarding expiring weeks?
RCI expired 2 of our weeks.
We have been paying to extend our weeks for awhile.
I've been told a member could only extend weeks 12 months beyond the original expiration.
We had been traveling ..... using our weeks at our resorts or exchanging or depositing them with RCI ... for years.
Over the past 3 years,we have not been able to take vacations due to illness. We have tried to have gift weeks but dates or places to go have not worked out for others.
We had a major move over the summer. During that time, I missed the expiration to extend our weeks.
With the cost to purchase timeshare plus the fees, it is unreasonable not to be able to pay to extend weeks when you have good reason not to use the weeks.
Most people have timeshare because the want to travel so when you are not traveling something must be going on in your life.
seems like exceptions ought to be part of the RCI policy.
does anyone have an opinion?
