No you do not. Just reserve the week and deposit with DAE. You should call DAE and make an exchange request for your best results. The online listings are the leftovers after current requests have been filled.
I have attempted to use DAE without any success in exchanging. I would suggest not depositing your week with them unless they confirm they have what you're looking for in Europe first.
Since you live in Europe, you would sign up with a European DAE account. From the sightings board, it seems that you would have greater access to European inventory than NA members. I believe that European members have to deposit first before seeing inventory with the free membership. You can upgrade your membership to a paid account and have access to the inventory and can make requests before depositing.
