RCI: Discrepancy in # of units viewed

In viewing all of my deposits with RCI and the # of available units that could be seen with each I noticed a bit of a discrepancy. I have one combined deposit (80 TPU's which I would assume would see everything). However, I have noticed that one of my deposits (45 TPU's ) consistently sees 20 to 40 more units than the 80 TPU week.

Anyone else had this experience or thoughts on what might be causing this difference?

That's interesting, Cory.
Actually, I've never tried that--I typically just search for any & all availabilities, regardless of TPUs required, then sort from there based on area.

But if the TPU system is truly based on TPUs, not sure why the filter for the higher TPU combo.

Different date ranges?

Some have shown that the Resorts shown from their Wyndham free account was different then what others had seen from a paid account...i don't know if that is the case here

Laurie, I think your answer is correct and makes sense. I failed to consider the difference in dates between the two deposits but the 45 TPU week has a travel window that begins and ends about 3 months later than the 80 TPU unit. I would bet if I took the time to compare month by month I would find the difference in those outlying months. Thanks.

That was going to be my guess, too. The other thing would be any regional blocks. If the 80 TPU combination includes any Orlando weeks, for instance, DVC and a couple other Orlando properties would be excluded.

Set the date range to the dates the two deposits have in common, and it'll be a better comparison. For instance, if one is 01-FEB-2013 - 28-FEB-2016 and the other is 01-DEC-2000 - 31-DEC-2003, look at 01-FEB-2013 - 31-DEC-2003.

Also, keep in mind that there are VERY few intervals that require 46-60 TPU (perhaps 200 or so?), so there should be almost no difference at all between the two deposits.

Thanks for the replies. Date range was the culprit (should have been able to figure that out). The window of my higher TPU week only goes through December 2013 while my other deposits include the recent available units for January 2014.

My situation is similar and leaves me scratching my head. I have 7 tpu left over from an old Wyndham deposit that will expire in March. When I search on it, although on the side bar it may say Florida (121), I get -0- units when I click on Florida.

I have resorted to searching on everything and see those 5, 6, and 7 tpu's. So I have to do that and weed through them looking for something. Not too much luck yet. My deposit might just expire.

There is an intermittent glitch in which some deposits don't list properly when searching across all deposits. For example, I have two deposit lines, both combined deposits, both tied to ongoing searches. When I search across all deposits/bookable weeks only, sometimes that defaults to -0-. I either have to choose a specific deposit to search, *or* I have to switch to "all available vacations".
