RCI deposit trading power affect confirmation?

I have an ongoing search for a Europe exchange at a resort with trading power 23 (max). My deposit is 50 TPU. Does my high deposit power affect priority for confirmation? The request is for June 2016 and trading power is dropping monthly (9 months out). I am hoping that more deposits will be made at the requested resort in early 2016 when yearly fees are due.

If search is eventually matched will the TPU used for the match be the max TPU of the resort request or the TPU at the time of the match?

I would think that a max revenue scheme at RCI would want to match higher deposit power requests, which would then allow RCI to collect another exchange fee on the leftover trading power.

There is no way to know exactly how many TPU's an exchange will require, until the exchange becomes available, but you can estimate, based on past history.

This is how it works as I understand it. Not to mention the fee to combine multiple TPU remnants so that they can be used together.

If you take 23 TPU exchange, you will have 27 TPU remaining.

Owner B deposits 50 TPU in November, and puts in an identical OGS.

My comment meant that if MMThomas does pull a 23 with their 50 deposit, they will get 27 in change back.

But I believe the OP is asking if his higher deposit of 50 TPU gives him higher trading power on an exchange for 23 TPU.

He will not have priority over someone who put in their request earlier.

I don't know if this still plays into it, but there used to be some sort of a filter where matches were only made Europe ---> Europe for a specific amount of time before the units were released to US. Don't know how long, or even if that still exists. Just throwing that into the mix.

I reread their question and you are correct, I had misinterpreted. I thought they had simply asked a follow on question about leftover TPU.

They allow you to use the change (for a fee), but they don't engineer it to maximize change by always matching the max TPU offered.

From my experience, there are very few city European deposits during the warmer months of June-September. Most European deposits I have seen for warmer months (mostly lake, country and mountain locations) have been deposited very early as in 18-24 months in advance.
