I have a WorldMark/RCI account which is under my name only.
I also have a Hilton/RCI account which is under my husband name.
If I make a reservation for the resort which has 1 in 4 rule with my WorldMark, can I make another reservation for the same resort next year with Hilton?
My husband and I have different last names, but use the same address.
Do you think RCI will catch it?

I'm not sure there's anything to catch. You are each two different people with two different accounts. Each one of you through your own accounts should be allowed to be there for 1 in 4.

How's that any different than 2 couples who travel together and each have an RCI account. They'd be able to go 2 years in a row.

But both my husband and I have the same address.
I worried maybe RCI check 1 in 4 with address?
Or they just check it with names?
Thank you for your post.

I would not think so, as RCI is not that sophisticated. My partner and I live in the same household with different last names and frequently get the same “promotional” offerings.

For that matter, I was getting two magazines from RCI before SVC switched to II because my first name was in full on one, and short form on the other so they could not even do that.

But both my husband and I have the same address.

I'd think they check only the name but I'm not sure.

People do share housing, though. My daughter in D.C. has two roomates that she shares a house with. If they all belonged to RCI, they should each still be intitled to the same access to a 1 in 4 resort.

I just don't see how they could enforce that on you under the circumstances you described.

I had heard it was per RCI account--so if you made a reservation via RCI Account #1, no one could use Account #1 to travel back to resort for 4 years. Can those who have been told the same RCI info (or different info) chime in?
I feel sort of stupid if that is not the case, as we are at a HGVC-Kingsland in Hawaii week 1 via my RCI weeks account and week 2 via my parents weeks account. I thought consecutive weeks were OK at HGVCs, and if not, then a different RCI account was OK. I could have easily booked the 2nd week at a different HGVC Hawaii resort--but DH said stay the whole time at Kingsland. DH is not listed on my RCI weeks account, so maybe I will get the guest certificate in his name--just to cover our bases. Elaine
