At my age (85) I have little hair on the top of my head but not insignificant amounts on the sides and back. Because of COVID-19 I'm reluctant to go to a Barber Shop so I bought a razor comb on Ebay for $7. It works so well I'll probably never go to a Barber Shop again. Imagine $7 plus replacement double edge razor blades from time to time and I'll never have to pay for a haircut again...

So, tell us about the experience using it George. Brand, ease of use? :ponder:

The woman who cuts my hair always uses one on me at the end to even out some of my thicker areas (and the top of my head is not one of those areas :ROFLMAO:). Never thought of using it as a replacement for a haircut -- interesting.

I guess it is okay if I want my hair real short and the same length all over. But for those with more hair on top, I am not sure it is the best replacement.

No brand name. Just do a search on Ebay for Razor Comb. There are all kinds of them, none with brand names. As to ease of use it is simple. It is a comb with a handle. Use the side where the blade is recessed the most and pull it through your hair just like you would use a regular comb. It is that simple. I used it on my deck so the wind would blow away the trimmed hair...
