Quick questions - Language to use on first call to Owner Services

I have non-banked SO's remaining for this year. I have a 7 night reservation Nov-Dec travel picking up one or two nights at a time, all in an 1 bdrm villa. Tonight I see nights 3-7 are available in a premium 1 bdrm villa. I'd like to change nights 3 - 7 to the one bdrm premium. I have the additional SO's needed available (they will die December 31 if not used).
Questions: What is the language/key words I should use with the WestinVN Owner Services Rep when I get them on the phone in the morning?
Will there be a cost to the transaction, if successful?
Anything else I need to know, that I have not figured out to ask? :)

The language you used in your post is perfectly fine, they'll understand what you want to do as they deal with the same every day. Should be no charges involved as it appears you are more than 60 days out for the reservation(s) you wish to amend.

Was up at the crack-of-dawn, hit the call button at 5:59 a.m. Pacific and....
you guessed it, three of the five premium villa nights were gone. :cry:

If a cancellation is completed online, how long does it take for the StarOptions to be returned to your account?? …instantly or w/in moments??

Instantly. Though there was one reported case here where the points didn't show back up and they had to call. So things happen.
