Quick credit pool question

Can I deposit cancelled 2012 points to the points credit pool (as long as it's before the start of my use year)? The directory doesn't indicate that I can't, but it doesn't indicate that I can either.

Here is what I got off of the Wyndham website under the frequently asked questions section:
Only Regular Use Year Points from your ownership interest may be placed in the Points Credit Pool. You can place a portion or all of your points in the pool.
There is a $39 service fee when you make a deposit.
One (1) Housekeeping Credit for every 1,000 points placed in the pool will be deducted from your account. Additional Housekeeping Credits may be purchased as needed.
Pool Credits may only be used for resort reservations in the CLUB WYNDHAM Plus program booked during the Standard Reservation and Express Reservation windows.
Please keep in mind that depositing your points into the Points Credit Pool is a final transaction and cannot be reversed.[/COLOR]

Ah, I see now too in the directory, if I had looked under "Canceling a Reservation" rather than "Points Credit Pool" it would have been clear - no pooling the cancelled points. Oh well.
