Quick answer needed - what's the option # when calling to make weeks reservations?

I have to use my cellphone tomorrow for a 13 month reservation, and of course I want to get in as fast as possible...and it's too late to make a test phone call. So my question to you knowledgeable folks is:

For the Chairman's Club number (855-682-4847), what is the option to select to get to the VOA?

I KNOW we used to use option 4, but I think I recall being surprised recently when making a non-emergency call  that the correct option now is 3.

Can anyone give me an answer before 9 a.m. Eastern tomorrow? :(
Thanks!
Lisa (and please wish me luck - I have to interrupt a teeth-cleaning appointment to do this. What a soap opera!)

So sorry no one answered you. I'm in your boat too today. It's 9am EST. Option #4 I believe. I'm going to be trying to book my Maui Napili tower today too. My stomach is in knots…. praying. ;)

Oh yikes, Lisa. I just now noticed you can call the Chairman's Club number. My ownership is weeks only, so that Option #4 may not be correct for you!

Answer: For Chairman's Club, VOAs are Option 3!

Southerngirl528 - thanks for the reply. Yes, for Chairman's Club, it is OPTION 3 to speak to a VOA, and we did get our 1/15/17 check-in - essential because we also have a 1/8/17 check-in.

Only hiccup - one's lock-off, and one's not, so we are guaranteed a move, but I can put up with that for 2 weeks at Napili Towers (and who knows, maybe something will open up and we can jigger it later to get both weeks the same type).
Hope you were successful!

I'm glad it turned out for you. We're Chairman's but haven't made reservations yet with our fancy schmancy title so couldn't answer. Now you have something to smile about with that new bright smile too. :) hopefully your hygienist was understanding. I remember one year making my reservations in a MVCI lobby on their phone in my bathing suit. The things we do!

 Boy! Are you right about THAT, Weimeraner!! I also want to say congrats on snagging your rez, N777it! Yay!! Looks like we will be there around the same dates at Napili Tower! Whale soup season!!! We snagged a mid-January check in for 3 weeks. I figure we'll stay at Aulani the week prior on Oahu.

Question for you Marriott veterans(not much off topic):

When I was booking our 3 week stay today, I wanted to lock off our 2nd week in our 2 bdrm villas to do weeks #2 and #3. The advisor insisted on getting the lock-off payment BEFORE she grabbed the rez for that 3rd weed in a studio. I do not recall any previous time an advisor asked me for payment until my reservation was complete as requested (including locking off one of our weeks). This made me quite nervous that the studio would not still be available for what was a very late January c/i by the time she very slowly took my payment info and processed it. It took her a VERY long time. To say I was getting antsy would be a gross understatement. :annoyed:

It does appear that booking January is a tiny tad less insane that booking a February arrival at MMOC?? Do you pro's agree? We did a January 31 c/i this year and the time before that was a week into February. That call I could not get our 3 weeks at the 13 month mark though I was the first call that morning to the advisor I got.

Again, congrats on your rez this morning, N777it!!! Yay!!! Now only about 2 months before it's time to book airfare and cars…… Maui here we come!!! :D

Don't have an answer for you Southerngirl but just reading your note has me excited - we'll be at MOC exactly a month from now! :D Whales, take note.

And to answer your question, February bookings may be tight partly because there are people who own 6 weeks or more who start their stays Week 3 and can then book all the way into February, including Prez Day Weeks, before us plebes can even pick up the phone. One year, we had to accept a 2-day overlap to get 2 consecutive weeks in February, even though our call went through immediately to a VOA at 9 a.m. ET (we managed to rent out the overlapping days). On the other hand, for 2016, I forgot to watch the calendar and called 5 days AFTER the release date :(, but still got our 2 January weeks. That wouldn't have happened with February dates, I'm sure!

I have made my 13 month reservations from a boat near Grenada, a beach in Antigua, my room in Aruba, an airport in Miami and poolside in St. Lucia. (those are the ones I can remember).

Things we do to try and get the weeks we want!

How do you know you have a non lock off unit? There are only a very few and you do not reserve a lock off or non lock off like u do at Ko Olina.
