We have always purchased the insurance from the Marriott but have never had to use it, until now. I have spoken twice to a Marriott person about how to proceed. We have a reservation on destination points for April 3. Our son, a few days ago, was hospitalized, and we have a neurosurgeon's statement saying he cannot fly based on his diagnosis, which may include surgery. Marriott said to file a claim with Travelex. The confusing part is they said to file the claim for the airlines (7 tickets), but do not cancel our Marriott reservation (destination points), the room would go unused, and they we would get a proportionate amount back based on maintenance fees. This sounds strange to me. Anyone have experince wi
