Hi,

I'm new to TUG and want to sell my timeshare in Cabo. I was filling out the form to place an ad and there was a question - 'Season' and the drop down box gave me several colors to chose from. I have a floating week during the summer months, what colors do I chose?

Thank you,

CaboLarry

Seasons vary between resorts and exchange companies. You are being given the choice of 3 seasons, essentially, high, medium, or low season. I'm going to guess that summer is low season in Mexico. But I'm going to move your question to the Mexico board where you will get expert help.

BTW - because of the economy, this is a terrible time to sell a timeshare and the market is flooded with Mexico timeshares. You would be better off to use it, rent it, or exchange it until the market improves. In this market many people can't even give their timeshares away. On TUG alone, there are 600 Mexico timeshares for sale.

Won't that information be given by either II or RCI in their listing for the resort? Or you could ask the resort. The color coding is not particularly informative, but always bettter to be as accurate as possible in an add (though I agree with the "don't try and sell now" advice).

Summer can be Red (school's out and it's hot so the beach is the place to be).

Question on how to sell timeshare

Thank you for the reply. I will take your advice and just rent my timeshare this year and see if the situation improves.

Thanks,

CaboLarry
