It means nothing other that there is a reservation. The code (such as ZZTQ, etc.) means everything.
 
So… there is a code on the reservation, in addition to the confirmation number?

(Remember - I'm not a Marriott owner, so I have no idea. Dumb it down for me!)

Denise, if they are in the original tower, the confirmation will be for Maui Ocean Club. If they are in the new tower, it will be for Maui Ocean Club -- Lahaina and Napili Villas. So they can tell from just the confirmation whether they are original building or new building.

And then the My History section will show the unit code that can determine view category, it is not on the confirmation itself. I hope that helps.

He/she can look up the reservation on Marriott.com with the last name and the reservation number. It will give the type of unit and the view, although if it is an II trade, the view could be changed prior to check-in.

That doesn't work. I've already tried that. I also tried emailing to have it added to my MR account so it would show up in my reservations, but they said I have to wait until I get there to add my number. I know it can be done as I've done it in the past, but I guess I'll have to call the Platinum member phone number to get them to do it.

It can take a few days or if there are two names on the II account, try the other name.
 
For a II exchange if you look in History (exchanges), the view code should be listed.
