Question for owners of Villa del Palmar - Cabo San Lucas.

When you deposit your week in II, are you allowed to select the week which gets deposited, or does the Resort select the week?

If you are allowed to select, which weeks do you recommend?

(asking on behalf of a friend)

The UVC bylaws (UVC is management company for Villa del Palmar) are pretty quiet on this issue. See page 33 of the bylaws: http://www.myuvc.com/files/Amended ...es and Bylaws _19_ - with TOC - Final _2_.pdf

While you might think that you could make a reservation and then exchange that reservation it looks like it doesn't work that way. I've exchanged UVC weeks twice with good success. I exchanged the optional "gold" weeks offered to Gold or VPA memberships. The club assigned the week and an exchanged them into II - they made mid-sept (summer season) reservations which I exchanged into winter season weeks at the Westin in Cancun and Grand Solmar in Cabo.
