Question for Manor Club Owners

For fellow Manor Club owners:

Have you ever rented your week? Is it possible to rent a summer Manor Club week for more than the maintenance fees? There is certainly no shortage of July 4th weeks currently for rent. The asking prices vary quite widely, but I'm not sure what people are actually getting...or if they are even renting at all. (Williamsburg is certainly not Hilton Head when it comes to rentals!)

Thanks for any input!

Steve

Steve,
I've never done it, but can tell you that it is a pretty busy week in Williamsburg. I wouldn't pick it as a great time to go, but others from out of the area may think it's a great time due to the historic nature. My guess is that it's worth about $1200 as a rental.

Thanks, Matt. That's just the type of info I was looking for. You know the Williamsburg market probably better than anyone on TUG, so thanks for your input.

a couple of summers ago, we stayed at Williamsburg for the Jul4th week and week after. It did seem more and very crowded around Colonial Williamsburg that first week.
