Question, buying a HGVC timeshare from reseller

My question is if I purchase a HGVC timeshare from a reseller, will that new timeshare contract show up under my account at club.hiltongrandvacations.com? Is there something I need to do to make hilton aware? Or is the process automatic?

When HGVC gets the transfer docs, it will be added to your account if...
The names on your new deed match eggsactly the names on the account,
It helps if HGVC is given your account # in the transfer docs.

When we bought we made sure title was exactly the same. It showed up on our account once closed.

If you use a reputable closing company (Like LT Transfers, they will do the legwork for you. They will write the deed and sent it to HGVC for ROFR, write the deed, send the deed to the county you the resort is in and notify HGVC that you now own the deed.

This. If you have an existing account with HGVC, make sure everything is spelled the same. If the names on the deeds are spelled identical, they should be in the same account,

FYI this was a manual process. I ended getting the deed, legal description & declaration of value from the reseller. I had to submit these docs to the county's recorder office (where the resort resides), they mailed the docs back, with the recorded stamp, and then I emailed hgvc a scanned copy of the docs, and a few days later the new contact/deed shows up on my account.

BTW, the first step is to pass HGVC's right of first refusal (ROFR).
They have a form you can use to request a waiver.
Send that in with a copy of the contract, and wait a couple of weeks.
LT Transfers is a very reputable transfer agent who can do that. too.
