I have a RCI deposit that goes from July 2010 to July 2013. Does that mean I can book an exchange that starts July 25 2013? Or is there also a specific date in July 2013, like the middle of the month that I can't go past?

Does my question make sense? I probably deposited the exchange week mid July of 2010.

I understand your question, I have the same one actually.

We have been given use of my grandmother's RCI timeshare deposit. The travel window ends "July 2013" ... which is extremely vague and can mean different things in my mind.

What does the END DATE in the Travel Window mean???

1) We have to complete the vacation and check out before midnight on July 1st.
2) We have to check-in prior to midnight on July 1st, but we can check out inside of the month of July.
3) We have to complete the vacation and check-out before midnight on July 31st.
4) We have to check-in prior to midnight on July 31st but we can check out inside the month of August.

So, my question is ... which one of those options is closest to the RCI policy?

My thoughts

I believe that you can find a match with a check-in date as late as 7/31. You might also be able to pay a fee to RCI to extend the usability of the week. Good Luck.

BJB is correct, as long as the check-in date is before the end of July, you should be ok.

You are correct. The start of the vacation needs to be on or before the very last day of the month it expires.

You can extend weeks for 1 month, 3 months, or 6 months ($29, $69, $109).

A more cost effective strategy is to combine the week with another week. It is $109 to do so but whenever you combine the new combination has 2 years from the month you combine it to be used.
