My husband's son (same last name as ours) is going to use our 2 bedroom villa at Ko'Olina for his honeymoon. I reserved the villa on line for him under his name.

1. Do I need a guest certificate for him?
2. Will he be entitled to the free parking that we get as owners?

There are no Guest Certificates when booking guests through MVW reservations - you just have to make sure that your guest's names are on the reservations. (Guest Certs are issued by II when you put a guest's name on an II exchange/getaway.) If this is your Week then for all intents and purposes any of your guests, including your son and his new wife, will be treated the same as you would be as owners.

If you call and ask, Marriott will issue a confirmation with your son's name on it, even if they don't call it a "Guest Certificate." Then they will have documentation of their reservation to take to check in.

When I entered the reservation information on line, I put it in our son's name. I used his email and phone for confirmation. Does that suffice?

And to add to the above, this would work exactly the same if your guest had a completely different name than yours.
