Just returned from a week at Quarter House, New Orleans, room 222.
Wonderful week, great unit, just redone do to fire a year ago or so. Unit was very quiet. Heard no noise at all. Maid service every day was a bonus. As Marriott owner not use to that!! Everyone was very friendly. Did many tours, all where great.

Wine and cheese night was great. Interesting how many people have owned for 25 yrs and NEVER traded!! They all love New Orleans and return every year.

Would go back again. Great timeshare and New Orleans needs you to visit!

As you know, we were there also. We left on Wednesday and therefore missed the wine and cheese night. I never had a chance to reach out to you. We had a disturbing phone call about a small fire at our neighbors house on Saturday night, which left us upset. Then I went to the cooking class, and right after it started, I received a call that my neighbor was found dead in his house. 40 years old. Long story, but we were very bummed by it. However we did have a good time. We took the Post-Katrina Gray Line tour. It was very interesting and very sad to see all the devestation. Even after a few years, there is so much to see, and they took us by the levees and through City Park. We were in room 517. It was an inside unit. The only window in the unit in the living room overlooked the small courtyard back past the pool by the ice machine. There was no window in the bedroom. It was obvously very quiet in the bedroom. I would go back, however I think that as a returnee, I would only go for 4 days. We also walked around the Garden District, and spent a day at the zoo.

Sorry you had such bad news while on vacation. I looked for you at the wine & cheese night. Asked everyone where they where from.

We did lots of tours and stayed busy the whole week! Our favorite was the Honey Island swamp tour. Capt. Ted spent his summers there as a kid visiting grandparents who lived there. Very informative and eco friendly.

Welcome back everone! Now how soon do you think your next trip to NOLA will be?

We used to go every 18 months or so. Now it's an annual trip. How about you?

I think I'm good for a few years, maybe 4 or so before I have the urge to return.

When we went the first time in 2004, well, that was back when everyone knew the hurricanes always missed NOLA. Since then we have all learned a lot. Now it's amazing to watch an area recover from a near-hit.
