Anyone drove I-95 from South Florida to the Washington, DC or Northern Virginia area since May 1st. How were the road conditions and were there any problems at any of the state lines: Are Welcome Centers and Rest Areas and Restrooms currently open in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, (NC) Virginia & DC? What about gas stations? Any travel restrictions - one should be aware of - Trying to get back home. Thanks...

I haven't personally done it but I have been told that the traffic is far lighter than normal, plenty of cheap gas, and most rest areas are open. Suggest you carry wipes and gloves for your gasoline and rest room stops.

Be aware of your speed as it is far easier to drive faster with less traffic being on the road.

I've been traveling I95 in Va. every week - far less traffic and everything is open. :)
