I was on the Resort review here on Tug looking up Plantation Village Beach Resort, Caymans. The fees I was quoted by II was $220.00 for Elec (2Bd)for the week, and $70.00(10.00 per day) For TS Gov tx. That was it,nothing else.

On the reivew(Tug) that guy that stayed there said he pay the following:
Date Of Visit - Jul 03, 2009
Date Of Review - Jul 17, 2009

Stayed July 3-12, 2009 at Plantation Village Resort in Grand Cayman; exchanged through Interval for a 7-day stay from July 4-11. The exchange through Interval cost $164 (all US$) for the request, then $165 for local Grand Cayman taxes. Also, had to reserve with the resort for days on either end, so that was about $220 per day. All-in cost (excluding what I pay for maintenance, RE taxes on my own Williamsburg unit annually) was approximately: $770 for a 10 day/9 night stay for 6 people total.

My question is. Is he right??. I was told the $220.00 was for a WEEK(7 days normal exchange) NOT $220.00 per day x 7 days = $1,540.00 on top of the $70.00 and the $159.00(online fee)Exchange fee = $1,769.00(that's nuts).

Please let me know if this guy is right or is II right. I don't have a problem with paying the $220.00 + $70.00 = $290.00 .

I think you may have misread what he posted -- his $220 per day appears to be for 2 extra days of lodging (not related to the elec. fee). Just an odd coincidence on that amount for two different things.
