Hi everyone,
We've had such goot get-togethersin the past years, maybe we could all get together again.

we'll be in PV from Feb 12 to March 10, the first 3 weeks at Villa del Palmar and the last out at Nuevo.

Anyone else?

We hope to be there for our fixed week #4 at the Buganvilias but we haven't made reservations yet.

Who do you recommend for travel insurance but not only for a timeshare visit? We have several trips planned but are renting timeshares too and hotel stays. Is it possible to insure for several trips at the same time?

We are still insured for medical evacuation through this company here after my husband's stroke on Maui. He is on new medication now so we need to make sure that there are no side effects.

We come as soon as we can and hope to meet you again and Karen and Bruce and others. See their posts. :) We are staying at the Buganvilias and Paradise Village in Nuevo Vallarta.

Ron and Joan,
I had started a thread a while ago to try to get all of the February people together in one post, but I don't know where that post is. I am at Sheraton Buganvilias now and will go to Villa del mar on Feb 4.

I'll have to keep an eye on this site re any potential TUG meeting.
I was in PV Oct-Dec 21 (lovely time at Villa del Pelmar PV and Flamingoes and Paradise Village)
Leaving Saturday (Jan 21) for a week at Costa Sur while looking for a long term rental (well at least two months).
Hope to meet up with some Tuggers!

There are two meet ups for people who post (or their friends) on two internet boards for PV: All Vallarta Board (just type into Google) meets on Tuesdays at 5ish at the Sea Monkey ($1 margaritas) and Vallarta Scene meets on Fridays at 5 at (alternates) Casa Isabell and Langostinos. Lots of lovely people, visitors and expat locals alike go to these meet ups....

Maybe i'll see some of you there!

Colo Belle,

Brenda moved the All Vallarta board meeting to the Twisted Palms Rooftop Lounge, every Tuesday at 5:30. It's easier for her since it's upstairs from her Mango Cafe.

Every one is welcome, and I'm sure a number of the people will be timeshare owners. We plan to be there on Feb 7.

CB, I noticed after posting that you're staying at Costa Sur. We'll be there the beginning of Feb. The recent reviews on TA have been very positive. (Not like the horrible ones a few years ago.)

Hey K + P....
jeez, go away for a couple weeks and EVERYTHING changes!
Twisted is a nice bar...like that it shows movies. Hope we get a discount on drinks tho!

Yes, its true...I also belong to a My Family forum of Costa Sur fixed week owners and they've been talking about the improvements.. new comfy beds (yeah!), flat screen TVs, hopefully cleaned out AC units (mold). I 've stayed there a week or two every year for the last few....not last or this year tho because I'm PO'd at Playa del Sol re its extraordinary fee.

Yuck: I had to exchange a 1 bd Costa Sur plus exchange fee for a studio this week. But I kinda like the studio side when its just me anyhow....like the bed view of the ocean not the bedroom in back.

I'm there the 21-28 so I guess I'll miss you, but hope to meet you at Brenda's or Vallarta Scene meet up. (I love going to Casa Isabell's...have you tried it?)

We'll be in PV at Costa Sur from Feb 2 to Feb 9. That's right, Thursday to Thursday, which is odd, but it's the airlines' fault for not having enough planes out of St. Louis these days.

The All Vallarta meet-up at Twisted Palms is every Tuesday.

CB, I've never been to Casa Isabell, though everything I hear is good. To be honest, Vallarta Scene is one PV forum I haven't joined, as it seems a little mean spirited sometimes. So if I go to Casa Isabell, it wouldn't be for the VS board meeting.

What can I say: the Scene board is sometimes mean spirited...I agree.
But the board members who go to Casa Isabelles are not...not at all.
Although there was a big bruhaha last year and the board kinda split,
the Friday meets are ONLY nice people...and Isabelle is charming.

And the 'owner' of the board, is an entirely different person from the cyber dude that posts on the board. I can't explain it....but the same people who go to Brenda's board meetings are usually at the V.Scene meets too.

My exchange is Sat to Sat...so unless I extend, I'll just miss ya...but will see you Feb 7 for sure!

Karen, hope to meet you there and Pammex too!?
No, Pammex will not be there as she just left the Casa Velas. I can't remember when she will be back again but I will ask her. I will check with Karen where our next meeting is. We finally got our airfares booked and will not miss a single day/night at the BVC. It will be nice to meet everyone again. :)

I had a great time last year meeting Tuggers but sadly, I won't be here this year. :(

However, on a brighter note, my husband and I are traveling together for the 1st time in almost 7 years. We're going to Guatemala in early March - looking forward to it!

Have fun in PV!

I will be arriving in PV Feb 18th for one week, staying at Velas Vallarta, then one week out in NV staying at Vallarta Palace.

I am meeting some Trip Advisor friends on monday the 20th at Victor's in the Marina but not sure what time for some reason we have not arranged the time...

I have plans for Feb 22nd over at Casa Velas...

The Meet & Greet I love PV ( Brendas Meetings) are at 5:30 at Twisted Palms. Most likely we will not go to that the first week anyway as we like the activities at Velas on Tuesdays. The second week kind of a far ride in from NV for this. May try to make the Friday one at Casa Isabel, what time is it? Ilvoe it there, and Isabel is a good friend...

Emmy hope you are having fun....I posted pics of my trip at Bouganvillas on FB the other day...had a great view room...

Going to Antigua & Lake Atitlan.

The popular locales and well-policed.

I really enjoyed La Antigua. If you search in the Picture of the Day thread I posted quite a few pics of La Antigua when I was there last year.
