Hello!
We bought a timeshare at Lawai Beach Resort at a presentation back in 1998.
We sold it about 10 years ago.
Now we are looking into a private party purchase on Maui.
What questions would you ask the owners before you purchase?
Would you call the timeshare to ask questions as well? What would you ask them?

Thank you! We are super interested in this timeshare but a little nervous at the same time.

Thanks so much for your input!

For more specific responses, post the name of the timeshare.

The two most important things come from other than the seller: using an independent escrow company and getting an estoppel from the HOA or management company.
