Purchase Starwood with SPG Benefit

Is it possible to have a resale unit "gifted" and receive
staroptions as well as spg benefit(hotel option instead
of letting so expire?)

if the original owners change the deed to include you or they set up a trust then i would think that it would work. call starwood and find out before you do this. the owners will have to make the phone call.

I believe only if you are related. We had this discussion about 6 months ago and I believe that was the consensus. Otherwise people would just sell their weeks by adding you on to their deed and then you would get the SOs and SPs even though it's "resale."
