Hello, my wife and I are considering the purchase of resale timeshare points for one resort in Orlando and one in Myrtle Beach. Will we be able to use the points in combination to make bookings? Will the points show under one account? Thanks in advance for answering our questions!

Hi @tebout ,
Welcome to TUG
- and may you and your family enjoy future TS vacations using a resale purchase.

The TUG Wyndham has many threads you may wish to read to best answer your questions- as well as many helpful members.
I am tagging this for @HitchHiker71 - the moderator of that forum as your post may get more answers if moved.

Yes and yes, but only during the standard reservation window starting at 10 months. During the ARP window starting at 13 months you will only be able to use each individual resort’s points at that resort.

Make sure you are paying attention to what the maintenance fees are for the resorts you are looking at, specifically the $$$/thousand points. TUG members have compiled a spreadsheet of that here: https://tugbbs.com/forums/threads/s...revious-years-last-updated-12-18-2023.315557/

Some Wyndham resorts have very high maintenance fees and are not really worth it. This is because Club Wyndham Access points (which give you ARP at every resort that the trust owns, up to the amount that the trust owns) are currently essentially free on eBay (you can buy them for less than closing costs). CWA is currently $7.65/thousand points. I would not buy at a resort that is more expensive than that since you could just grab CWA instead.

With all that said, Wyndham is a great system and I have no regrets owning there (resale).
