ThanksI had a timeshare there for about a year, never stayed there and never will. Very shady place, unless they changed management. It’s been a while.
thanksI used to stay there at least once a year before Hurricane Charley hit. We absolutely loved it then. My late mother-in-law and her sister lived in Punta Gorda and we used it as a base to visit them. We lost our traded week because it was shutdown for major repair due to the hurricane. RCI said we didn't buy insurance and there was no refund. My aunt-in-law died shortly after the hurricane came through and my mother-in-law moved to Ohio. So we had no reason to go back to Punta Gorda. I have no idea what it is like now.
Thanks. Looks nice on the website, but you never know. Thought it might be a fun place to try.I too stayed there a long time ago; very different experience staying above a shopping center. It had a pool and marina, and marina “residents” shared the pool at that time. Not a lot to do in Punta Gorda, but climate is great.
It was lovely. It had a decent on-site restaurant. I would go back and stay there in a heartbeat if we need to be in the area again.Thanks. Looks nice on the website, but you never know. Thought it might be a fun place to try.
I think you are referring to it being "shady" to a timeshare owner? We loved that place but we did not own there.I had a timeshare there for about a year, never stayed there and never will. Very shady place, unless they changed management. It’s been a while.
We enjoyed eating at some restaurants, and I enjoyed looking around at the shops.Thanks. Looks nice on the website, but you never know. Thought it might be a fun place to try.
Thanks for the information.I know nothing about the redoet, but we have friends who live in Punta Gorda and they love it, though the wife says it’s very hot. (they are origin from NY).
Thanks for the information.
