We will be visiting PBR and PBS in March. While at PBS, we have a Presidential unit and my DB and SIL will be joining us. We negotiated a fair price on the Platinum AI package, so we plan on using that. We are in our 50s and we will be having much needed adult time. We our leaving our children at home this trip:) I have a few questions. I have always found TUG to be a great resource for TS travel.

1. While not guaranteed, we are going to put in a request with building numbers and ask for a high floor. What are some of the favorite buildings with great views?
2. What is resort attire in the evenings for the specialty restaurants and the regular dining rooms?
3. Are there any special/theme nights planned? How is the nightlife at PBS?
4. Since we will be there for two weeks, can will the dinner surcharges be waived if we happen to go more than once.
5. Does anyone know if there are areas/pools in the resort shut down due to Covid? or other restrictions? We are aware of the negative Covid test required by US. I was told the resort will be providing that with our AI plan.

Thanks for all of you suggestions or help. We are very excited for the trip. We were scheduled to go with our children at the end of March last year and had to cancel due to Covid. We are even more excited this year and to be doing a "parent trip" this year.

At Sunset Beach most all suites have great ocean views since the resort is built on a hillside. The presidential suite is very large and great for two couples. At PB Rose you can ask
to see what room they've assigned to you and if you don't like the view, ask if anything else is available. They might be able to give you a choice of rooms if they aren't too busy.

2. What is resort attire in the evenings for the specialty restaurants and the regular dining rooms?
The men would probably be wearing collared shirts and the women wearing casual dresses or nice pants, but it doesn't get too fancy, as I recall.
3. Are there any special/theme nights planned? How is the nightlife at PBS?
I've seen on the PB owners Facebook that there's a bar open late with entertainment, I think, but I doubt there's a lot of nightlife going on at the resort.
4. Since we will be there for two weeks, can will the dinner surcharges be waived if we happen to go more than once.
I doubt that would happen.
5. Does anyone know if there are areas/pools in the resort shut down due to Covid? or other restrictions? We are aware of the negative Covid test required by US. I was told the resort will be providing that with our AI plan. I haven't read of any shut-downs due to Covid, but you might want to check out the Facebook page for posts and pictures of people who are there now. Everyone reports having a great time and feeling quite safe with all the safety measures they are taking. Here's the Facebook link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/PB.owners
Please report back about your trip when you return.
