I would suggest doing this for ALL airlines you have reservations with.
Yes, most definitely check, almost daily, for every flight.
We had a flight booked with InterJet Airlines to depart Chetumal Mexico March 29th. I went onto their website on March 18th to double check our departure time to book our taxi to the airport. I discovered that our connecting flight from Mexico City to Toronto was now scheduled to leave 3 hours before our flight from Chetumal was scheduled to land in Mexico City! After failing to get an answer at their Mexican and US offices we finally called their Toronto office. The rep told us the flight times had changed at least 2 weeks prior due to the reduction in flights to international destinations. He also could not tell us why we weren't notified even though he had our email on file and we had received other unrelated emails from them. After a lot of searching he was able to get us seats on the same flight a week earlier, before the new schedules started.
We are also still in communication with InterJet trying to get a refund for the first leg of our flight which they cancelled 2 hrs before its departure. They are maintaining that we aren't owed a refund as we completed our journey to Toronto -only thanks to Volaris Air for getting us to Mexico City in time for the 2nd leg of our trip home. The replacement flight with Volaris wasn't that expensive, and thankfully it got us to Mexico City in time, but I still feel we are owed a partial refund and maybe an apology! The fight continues.
