Problems doing an ongoing searching in II with an AC

I've been trying for days now to initiate an ongoing search in II, using an AC. I am requesting specific resorts and dates which are "on the grid" for AC availability. But, I can only get as far as the page that says, "Review/Modify Request Criteria." At that point, I don't see a button for continuing on, so I can't complete the request.

Anyone else have this problem? Is there a way to get around the problem without calling a rep and having them enter the request?

There are different types of AC's but most of them you can use for a request. The only one that I am aware of that can't be used is one that is only a 45 day grid and you can't use that one because you have to be requesting a date not within 60 days.

As long as you dates are outside of 60 days, all dates are on the grid and the resorts aren't any that don't participate in the AC program (they should be listed on the certificate if they don't), then it should allow you to put the request in.

I would call and have an advisor put it in for you. You can always keep them on the phone while you look over it to make sure that everything is correct. The system is real time, so you should be able to refresh your screen and see the request details.

You used to be able to set up an ongoing search online with ACs, but not any more - I think that was changed quite some time ago. You do need to call II to set it up.

They didn't change it. I put in a request online on October 19, 2008 and received a confirmation for DVO so I know it works. Maybe they are just having issues with their site.

Ongoing Search With AC

When I called II a couple of months ago to do an ongoing search with an AC, the VC told me that the search had to be done for a 2 bedroom, i.e., pay the highest fee, even though I just wanted a 1 bedroom. Even if I ended up with a 1 bedroom or efficiency, II would not refund the difference. So I waited until flexchange and got a good resort for the size I needed, 1 bedroom, without paying for a 2 bedroom.
