They were offering free helicopter tours for attending their presentation but said nobody wanted to go on them after Kobe Bryant death. Offered a few bucks off tours or $125.

Who the hell thought that would be a good thing to offer with all of the recent copter accidents? Not bright......

I should think that the Kauai helicopter crash in December would be an even bigger deterrent.

May not be a timely offer given recent history but its probably why its being done. More than likely there has been a negative impact on copter tours and to help drum up business the resorts were probably given a great deal to help promote.
