Has anyone heard of them? They contacted us and work through a Escarow company to facilitate closing. Sounds like a scam because they can't include closing costs of $3K in the transaction. You have to sign all of the paperwork and send your money to the Escarow company and then the Escarow will close out the transaction.

Is there a law that does not allow closing costs to come out of the purchase price for a timeshare?

Smells like a scam but obviously want to carefully look at ways to dump the timeshare.

There is a simple rule of thumb for timeshare business offers:

Never ever pay a large upfront fee - no matter what they call it!

REPUTABLE brokers charge a commission AFTER the sale, out of the PROCEEDS.

Sniff...Sniff... Yes, it seems to fail the smell test.

Their website (which is their name) was created THIS MONTH and has an IP in England. Their website states "We are an Internationally known Company with offices throughout the U.S including our Headquarters in Wilmington, DE." Why would this internationally known company only NOW get a website? Even though the website was just created, they found a way to get three testimonials. That is amazing since their website only has ONE timeshare for rent or sale.

Actually, I did find a second website for them as well in which they used VIPERSITEBUILDER to create the website. This site touts that you can create up to five websites for only $14.95. Seems odd to me that an internationally known company would want to spend less than $15.00 for their window to the world. Scammers on the other hand, like to spend as little as possible. I was unable to verify when this website was created because when you enter the full website into who.is it only brings up the vipersitebuilder.com website itself, not the created website. This website is incomplete and many of the links for resorts do not work. In short, it looks like a $14.95 website.

Lastly, I searched their phone number. of course NOTHING comes up except those two websites. Not too surprising since they seem to have just appeared out of nowhere. According to Searchbug, their phone number is a VOICE OVER IP/INTERNET PHONE. There seems to be RED FLAGS all over for this company.

You combine all that with the fact that they are asking you for SIGNIFICANT upfront fee and I will go out on a limb and say that they will SCAM you out of any money you are willing to give them.
