I attended a presentation last week at HGVC on the Strip and was told the current price for a 2BR Platinum 7000 point week is 39,900. That is a significant move up in the past year and I am surprised to see that resales are still going for 1/3 of that.
The presentation was all about using the Hilton hotel system more so than the timeshare. It seems that is the angle they sell now. Even though they are adding timeshare locations they talk about all of the hotel locations. They had a list of future sites which they blew through so quickly that I didn't catch most of them. I seem to recall talk of a location in Va. Beach. I have not seen any reports anywhere about that and was surprised at that location.
